Concert Gravity Strings

Embark on a journey through Europe during a concert in the sculpture garden.

Date

Location

Sculpture garden

On Thursday 30 July and 6 August, the Gravity Strings string quartet will give two concerts in the sculpture garden. Inspired by Isaac Israels’ many travels, they will perform various pieces that reference European cultures.

Gravity Strings

The Gravity Strings string quartet performs music from a variety of genres, such as neoclassical, pop and jazz. The four musicians met whilst playing with Jong Metropole, where they discovered their shared interest in music beyond the confines of the classical genre. Energy and curiosity are the driving forces behind their work. The musicians have previously performed individually at venues in the Netherlands and abroad, and are now bringing that experience together in a single ensemble.

Muziekzomer Gelderland

Muziekzomer Gelderland is the summer festival organised by the National Youth Orchestras of the Netherlands. Talented young musicians, conservatory students and young professionals give concerts throughout the province.
