Contemporary artists at the Kröller-Müller

Our collection comprises around 20,000 paintings, drawings and sculptures. This collection consists largely of works by modern artists. Contemporary painting and sculpture also have a special place in our permanent collection. Among the contemporary artists represented are Roni Horn and Ger van Elk. Moreover, our exhibitions also regularly feature the work of contemporary artists, such as Jan Dibbets, Gilbert & George and Anish Kapoor.

What is so special about the Kröller-Müller? The fact that you can also enjoy art outdoors! Our sculpture garden is one of the largest in Europe and is filled with works by modern and contemporary artists. For example, Mobile home by Joep van Lieshout. Other contemporary artists you will find in our sculpture garden include: Richard Serra, Chris Booth, Heringa / Van Kalsbeek, Cornelius Rogge and Ewerdt Hilgemann.
